Mark West has been working as a professional pianist and teacher for 10+ years. A fixture in the senior living community scene, Mark has performed widely in senior living communities all around Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Florida. In recognition of his impact to the community, the State of Massachusetts Senate and House of Representatives presented a commendation in 2015 for his contributions and dedication to providing endearing entertainment for senior citizens all around the Commonwealth. Since 2014, Mark has performed thousands of concerts for hundreds of senior living communities. 

In addition to playing for numerous senior living communities, Mark has played for numerous restaurants, country clubs, and entertainment venues. This includes playing for weddings, holiday parties, and other family occasions. Mark had the honor of being a headline pianist for the Essex National Heritage Celebration in 2017, attended by a former United States Secretary of State. 

Having taught dozens of private piano students since 2014, in an effort to provide quality in-home lessons to students beyond his personal ability and schedule, he started the Mark West Music Network in 2018. He has worked with many distinguished musicians from local institutions such as Berklee College of Music, New England Conservatory, Longy School of Music, Boston University, the Julliard School, and other esteemed institutions around the country and the world. As a result, he has helped provide employment opportunities for dozens of music teachers around New England. Since 2018, thousands have students have had been provided lessons for by many great teachers under Mark’s administration.
